Horray, first post! So I’m working with Kane, Matt and Steve on this small narrative map project. Kane’s come up with the good idea of encorporating senses into it. We’re going to create a journey through the harbourside where we can each use only one sense (sight, sound, touch and smell), and create stuff that will happen (e.g falling in the water or something), and somehow map out and record how each sense responds to that. We still need to discuss it in detail, but I think a big piece of paper with a collage of materials and drawings would work for the actual map, being as unique and experimental as possible. Can also include photos, video and sound clips from mobile phones too, but the smell sense is going to be difficult, and taste wouldn’t be much easier I don’t think.

We arranged to go down to the harbourside today at 2, but we’re discussing things on MSN at the moment. Will update later.
